Another holiday,
another TV series
I slept at two last night, and badly. I maintained reasonable waking hours for the first two days of the holidays, because of Jeans for Genes on Thursday with Bei, and then Parul's and Anne's places for the next two days. But now my bedtime is somewhere between 1 and 3am and waking sometime around midday. On Thursday Bei and I went to Myer Bondi Junction to do Christmas wrapping for charity. I didn't know Bei had signed me up for the whole day (10am-5pm), but the day passed surprisingly quickly. Around 3pm we had a flood of presents, and there was a girl with an accent who turned out to be from Switzerland when I asked (sadly, she spoke Italian, not French). Another guy gave us the task of wrapping a G-string and a bra, and I had a hard time trying not to raise my eyebrows. One man with a slight American accent gave us two large boxes to wrap: a toy car set for his son and a pink Barbie pony for his daughter. Why do I mention this?
